Websites YCC is trying to enhance our website to be as up to date as possible and user friendly. You will find important documents, forms, calendar and helpful information at your fingertips.
E-mail, on the other hand, is sent directly to you the address we have on file. You must - of course - check your email to get your messages. If your email goes directly to - or is forwarded to - your smartphone , you will almost instantly be made aware of new messages. Email is a valuable communications tool for important notices and updates.
Messages will be short and concise and may often include a link that sends you to the website for more in-depth information. Examples of email use would be emergency warnings, meeting reminders, election reminders and notices of important changes. If you have received email from the POA in the past, your e-mail is valid in our system. Please note that you can also remove yourself from the list at any time. If you would like information in e-mail form, and are not currently receiving them, please contact Linda in the clubhouse with your information.
Many residents do not have - or do not use - computers. We are committed to reaching these residents via non-Internet communications media as we have in the past.
Paper Communications: Important POA notices will continue to be be sent to our residents via US Mail, to the residents' Mailing address.
Tides & Times: Our monthly newsletter is availble at the front desk and online on the website.
Gate postings: Other notices will be posted at the Guard House as they have been in the past.
TV Channel 63: This medium is especially valuable for use in emergency situations, such as warning of approaching storms during the Hurricane Season.
